General Motors launched its global mini car in the Indian market in the first week of January 2010. This new edition known as the ‘Chevrolet Beat’ would be manufactured at GM India’s Talegaon plant in Maharashtra and would be available in Delhi at a price of Rs. 3.34 lakhs and Rs. 3.94 lakhs. The company has plans to launch their new edition across 150 countries in the forthcoming months. They also intend to introduce the diesel version of this edition later this year.
